FUNCTIONS
GROUP: Clear Heat
1. Clear the Heat and resolves Toxicity, quickens the Blood and relieves
pain, reduces swelling and promotes the discharge of pus.
INDICATIONS
1. Skin infection (due to Heat Toxin) in second stage (ie lesions are beginning
to suppurate): red, hot swollen and painful lesions, fever, mild chills,
headache
T- red with thin yellow or white coating P- rapid and forceful
APPLICATIONS: Second stage skin infections: furuncle, carbuncle,
acne, mastitis, acute appendicitis, infected wounds, localised purulent lesions
