Iron oxide has several forms:
Hematite- Iron III oxide- Fe2O3. It contains
both Fe2+ and Fe3+ ions and is sometimes formulated as
FeO ∙ Fe2O3.
Magnetite- Iron II,III oxide- Fe3O4.
Naturally magnetic.
Iron II oxide- FeO, which is rare.

About in the Spring and Autumn Period (770 BC–476 BC), the phenomenon of magnetite
