Shoulders
1. Ask your partner to kneel with knees spread slightly apart, or any comfortable
sitting position.
2. Kneel behind with one leg raised, and feel shoulders
3. Lift your partners shoulders and let them drop naturally, repeat until
the shoulders feel heavy.
4. Knead shoulder muscles.
5. Pound shoulders with fists.
6. Stand behind, resting both hands on shoulders, add weight to one shoulder.
7. Ask partner to interlock their fingers, and place their hands behind their
head, draw elbows back.
8. Ask partner to interlink their fingers, and hold their hands above their
head. Position shoulder under hands and lean back- standing sideways.
9. Press into top ridge, from neck going to shoulders.
10.Knead shoulders again and use some sweeping movements.
Back
1. Ask partner to lie face down.
2. Lift feet and sway hips gently.
3. Stand over partner and put arms down.
4. Move to one side and press/wobble arm muscles with foot.
5. Press into buttocks.
6. Press/wobble legs, moving down each leg.
7. Stand on heels.
8. Stand to side and rock sacrum.
9. Kneel to side and stretch hip and scapula. Cross first then same side.
10. Press around scapula.
11.Palm back- downward.
12.Thumb points 2 finger breaths from spine, from top to sacrum.
Back of Legs
1. Kneel to the side and palm buttocks.
2. Use thumb pressure over buttocks.
3. Palm back of leg.
4. Thumb down center of back of leg = Bladder channel.
5. Ask partner to move to recovery position- on side with upper knee pushed
forward.
6. Palm outside of bent leg.
7. Thumb outside of bent leg.
Feet
1. Sit or kneel below your partner, and pick up one foot
2. Grip ankle with one hand and turn foot each way.
3. Extend foot, then flex toes and foot down.
4. With soul facing away from you. Bend the foot laterally to flex the soul.
5. With soul facing upward, bend foot laterally to extend the soul.
6. Support the foot in one and loosely pound the soul with the other.
7. Thumb the soul.
8. Grip the ankle and shake the foot.
9. Stand astride and brush or stroke the back downwards.
10. Ask you partner to turn over and lie on their back.
11. Kneel under each foot, and support the heel while using thumb pressure
between tendons on top of foot.
12. Support the heel and extend toes- downward.
13 .Flex toes away from you- upward.
14. Hold each toe between your index finger and thumb and rotate.
15. Squeeze toe- top bottom.
16. Squeeze toe sideways.
17. Pull each toe firmly, and flick off end.
Front of legs
1. Ask your partner to bend their legs.
2. Stand below their feet and push knees in circle.
3. Lean on knees, pushing towards chest.
4. Kneel to side with one leg raised and rotate lower leg and knee, at hip
joint.
5. Lean on single knee, pushing towards chest.
6. Place foot over other leg. Push knee down with one hand while holding shoulder
down with the other.
7. Push knee outward with the other hand on the other hip.
8. Kneel beside the legs and lift closest leg onto your knee.
9. Palm inside of leg- upward.
10.Thumb from ankles upward. Sp Liv Ki channels.
11. Straighten legs and palm the front of thigh- downwards.
12. Thumb outside of front of legs- downward St channels.
13. Stand astride partners lower legs and brush upward on front of legs.
Abdomen
1. Kneel alongside your partner, resting a palm on abdomen.
2. Knead abdomen.
3. Palm abdomen, in a circular direction.
4. Use tips of fingers and lean clockwise on points in a circle about 5 cm
from the navel.
Hands
1. Hold wrist vertically and rotate hand.
2. Interlock fingers with your partner and extend hand backwards.
3. Flex hand downwards
4. Turn hand palm upwards, thread your thumb and little finger between their
thumb and little finger and extend their palm laterally, using also thumbs
on both your hands.
5. Turn palm over and flex palm.
6. Turn palm upward and apply thumb pressure between metacarpals and along
thumb.
7. Turn palm downward and apply thumb pressure between metacarpals. Noting
LI 4.
8. Rotate finger.
9. Squeeze top and bottom of end of finger.
10. Squeeze lateral sides of finger.
11. Put firmly on each finger, flick off end.
12. Hold wrist and shake hand.
Arms
1. Rotate the whole arm in circles while resting the other hand on your partners
shoulder, then push straight above head.
2. Kneel beside you partner, position their arm perpendicular to body, palm
upwards. Palm from shoulder to wrist.
3. Support their hand on your knee, so that the elbow is bend and apply thumb
pressure down the inside of the arm. 3 channels Lung, Pericardium, Heart.
4. Place your partner’s arm closer to body, palm down. Palm from wrist to
shoulder.
5. Support hand and apply thumb pressure upwards to 3 channels Large Intestine,
San Jiao, Small Intestine.
Chest and Neck
1. Kneel above your partner’s head. Hold wrists and lean backwards to stretch
upper body.
2. Put weight on front of shoulders.
3. Sit back and palm upper chest.
4. Apply thumb pressure under clavicle, and down sternum, then along the lower
border of ribs. Do not apply pressure to breast tissue in women.
5. Apply pressure to top ridge of shoulders.
6. Place your hands under your partner’s neck and lift their head. Draw your
hands towards yourself. 7. Rise up in squatting position on feet. Interlock
fingers under neck and lean back, stretching the neck slightly.
8. Kneeling cross arms under your partners head with your hand on top of
their opposite shoulder. 9. 9. Lean forward to bend neck.
10. Move head to one side. Apply thumb pressure along lateral neck muscles,
and along under skull.
Face
1. Kneel above your partners’ head. Apply pressure with fingers from sides
to center under cheek bone.
2. Apply pressure on the groove on each side of the lower border of the nose
= LI 20. While cupping fingers around chin.
3. With thumb on the jaw bone press fingers in under jaw bone, from the center
outwards.
4. Press the index finger into a point just under both ear lobes = SJ17.
5. Cupping the head with hands. Press one thumb on top of the other into between
the eyebrows = Yintang, and continue to the top of the head
6. Repeat this for two lines rising up from the medial end of eyebrows.
7. Apply thumb pressure to point just below the center of the nose = GV26.
Also at the hollow in the midline just at the roots of the teeth on the chin.
8. Steadying your hands against your partner’s head, use pressure of fingers
on points 2-3 cm around mouth, at the roots of the teeth.
9. Squeeze the ears, and pull them gently.
10. Pinch the eyebrows from the inner to the outer
11. Massage the forehead by stroking outwards with the fingers.
12. Massage the temples with the tips of the first and second fingers.
13. Gently tug the hair starting around the hairline and finishing on top
of the head.
