FUNCTIONS
GROUP: Clear Heat
1. Clears and drains Lung Heat, relieves coughing and wheezing.
INDICATIONS: Deficiency Heat in the Lung: coughing, wheezing, dyspnea, afternoon, fever, mouth and throat dry, hemoptysis T- red with thin coat P- thready and rapid
APPLICATIONS: Acute or chronic bronchitis, asthma, pulomitis from measles, infantile pneumonia, pertussis, pleurisy, tracheitis.
INGREDIENTS
Lycium chinense- 地骨皮 Dì gǔ pí- Wolfberry root bark
Morus alba- 桑白皮 Sāng bái pí- Dry Mulberry root bark
Glycyrrhiza uralensis- 甘草 Gān cǎo- Licorice
Oryza sativa- Geng mi- Rice- added to help protect digestion and the middle Jiao from the coldness and harshness of this formula
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Excessive Syndromes, Qi and Yang deficiency.
