FUNCTIONS
Group: Regulate Qi
1. Spreads the Liver Qi to relieve constraint, nourishes the Blood.

INDICATIONS
1. Liver Qi Stagnation with Heat: Discomfort of chest and hypochondrium, headache or dizziness, palpitations, fever or tidal fever, red face, red eyes, irregulat menstruation, breast distension, dysuria, lower abdominal distension. T- red with a thin yellow coat. P- wiry or rapid

Paeonia lactiflora- 白芍 Bái sháo- White peony root
Bupleurum chinensis- 柴胡 Chái hú- Bupleurum root
Poria cocos- 茯苓 Fú líng- Hoelen fungus
Glycyrrhiza uralensis-甘草 Gān cǎo- Chinese licorice
Atractylodes macrocephala 白术 Bái zhú- White atractylodes
Mentha arvensis- 薄荷 Bò hé- Peppermint stalk and leaves
Zingiber officinale- 生姜 Shēng jiāng- Fresh ginger rhizome
Paeonia suffruticosa- 牡丹皮 Mǔ dān pí- Tree peony
Gardenia jasminoides- 栀子  Zhī zǐ- Cape jasmine fruit
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Qi and Yin deficiency.
