INDICATIONS
1. Exterior Wind Cold with Deficiency of Exterior:
Aversion to cold drafts, chills and fever which are not relieved by sweating, sneezing and nasal congestion, chest discomfort, coughing with pale thin sputum, cold sensation and cold exteremities, body aches, tiredness T- normal or pale P- floating or thready.
APPLICATIONS: Common Cold, influenza, allergic rhinitis, urticaria, eczema, cardiovascular disease, post-partum gastritis, gastroduodenal ulcers, neurosis, epilepsy, morning sickness, mentrual disorders, chillblain.
INGREDIENTS
Cinnamomum cassia- 桂枝 Guì zhī   Cinnamon twigs/sticks
Paeonia lactiflora- 白芍
Bái sháo- White peony root
Glycyrrhiza uralensis- 甘草 Gān cǎo- Chinese Licorice
DA ZAO- Jujube
Zingiber officinale- 生姜 Shēng jiāng- Fresh Ginger rhizome
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Excessive Heat Syndromes: Damp Heat, Yin deficiency with hyperactivity of Yang.
COMMENTS: This formula is used for common cold or flu due to Wind Cold, with a weak constitution or sweating.
