FUNCTIONS
GROUP: Treat Phlegm
1. Dries Dampness, transforms Phlegm, regulates the Qi and harmonizes the middle Heater.
INDICATIONS
1. Retention of Damp Phlegm due to Spleen Qi deficiency: Productive cough with profuse watery or foamy white sputum, fullness in the epigastric region, nausea, vomiting, dizzines, palpitations. T- may be swollen or normal with a greasy, white or moist coat. P- slippery or soft pulse.
APPLICATIONS: Chronic tracheitis, bronchitis, pulmonary emphysema, goiter, chronic gastritis, peptic ulcer, Menier's disease.
INGREDIENTS
Pinellia ternata- 半夏 Bàn xià- Pinellia
Poria cocos- 茯苓 Fú líng- Hoelen fungus
Citrus tangerina- - 陳皮 Chén pí- Aged Tangerine skin
Glycyrrhiza uralensis-  甘草 Gān cǎo- Chinese Licorice
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Yin deficiency, Heat Syndromes
