FUNCTIONS
GROUP: Harmonize- Liver Heat
1. Harmonizes the releases the Shao Yang division, clears gastrointestinal heat-bind, clears Liver and Gallbladder Fire.
INDICATIONS: Mainly for Shao Yang and Yang Ming Syndromes: Alternating chills and fever, epigastric pain, vomiting, constipation or diarrhea. T-red or red tipped tongue with yellow or greasy yellow coat. P- wiry or forceful.
APPLICATIONS: Acute cholecystitis, acute pancreatitis, gastroenteritis, intestinal obstructions which are due to accumulation of Heat or Excessive Heat in the Gall Bladder and Stomach. Also for cases of hypertension, acute conjunctivitis, migraine headache due to Liver Fire rising and Gall Bladder Fire.

CONTRAINDICATIONS: Cold Syndromes, Deficient Syndromes and during pregnancy.
COMMENTS : Two of the main ingredients are HUANG QIN and DA HUANG. HUANG QIN clears Heat and DA HUANG is a laxative to resolve Heat-bind and to detoxify.
