PC 3 Quze ** 
FUNCTIONS Free He Qi, dispel Heat from Xue, stop vomiting and diarrhoea, regulates the intestines.
INDICATIONS
1. Pain in the cardiac region. Palpitation. Rheumatic heart disease. Myocarditis). Irritability
2 . Gastric pain. Vomiting. Acute gastroenteritis. Enteritis.
3.  Tremor of the hand and arm. Pain in the elbow and arm.
4. Febrile diseases. Heat exhaustion.
5.  Bronchitis.
LOCATION: On the transverse cubital crease, at the ulnar side of the tendon of biceps brachii.
METHOD: Perp 0.5-0.8 inch (Ess).

PC 4 Ximen  **
FUNCTIONS: Calm the Spirit, pacify the He, open the chest. Xi-Cleft point for acute disorders. Special for angina pectoris.
INDICATIONS
1. Cardiac pain. Palpitation.. Rheumatic heart diseas.e Myocarditis. Angina pectoris. Spasm of the diaphragm.
2. Epistaxis..Pleurisy.  Hematemesis.
3.  Mastitis. Furuncles
4. Hysteria.
LOCATION: 5 cun above the transverse crease of the wrist, on the line connecting Quze (P3) and Daling (P7), between the tendons of palmaris longus and flexor carpi radialis.

3. Pain in the chest and hypochondriac region (Ess), intercostal neuralgia (Sha), diseases and pain of the wrist joint (Sha)

LOCATION: In the depression in the middle of the transverse crese of the wrist, between the tendons of palmaris longus and flexor carpi radialis.
METHOD: Perp 0.3-.5 inch (Ess).

5. Excessive sweating of the palms.
6. Foul breath.
7. Fungus infection of the hand and foot.
8. Heat exhaustion.
LOCATION: When the hand is placed with the palm upward, the point is between the 2nd and 3rd metacarpal bones, proximal to the metacarpophalangeal joint, on the radial side of the 3rd metacarpal bone.
METHOD: Perp 0.3-0.5 inch (Ess).

Secondary Points

PC 1 Tianchi *
INDICATIONS

1. Pain in the hypochondriac region. Swelling and pain of the axillary region. Intercostal neuralgia. Pain and swelling below the axilla.
2. Suffocating sensation in the chest. Angina pectoris.
LOCATION: 1 cun lateral to the nipple, in the 4th intercostal space.
METHOD: Obliquely .2 inch. Deep puncture is not advisable.

PC 2 Tianquan * 
INDICATIONS
1. Pain in the back and medial aspect of upper arm. Pain in the flank. Pain along the medial aspect of the upper arm.
2. Pain in the chest.. Pain in the cardiac region. Angina pectoris. Palpitation..
3. Cough..
4. Distention of the hypochondriac region.
LOCATION: 2 cun below the end of the anterior axillary fold, between the two heads of biceps brachii.
METHOD: Perp 0.5-0.7 inch (Ess).

PC 9 Zhongchong *
FUNCTIONS: Reduce Fire from the Heart rendering effect of resuscitation (bleed).
INDICATIONS
1. Irritability. Loss of consciousness. Infantile convulsion. Shock. Apoplectic coma.
2. Cardiac pain. Angina pectoralis.
3.  Aphasia with stiffness of the tongue.
4. Febrile diseases. Heat stroke. Feverish sensation in the palm. Heat exhaustion .Hhigh fever.
LOCATION: In the centre of the tip of the middle finger.
METHOD: Obliquely 0.1 inch, or prick with three-edged needle to cause bleeding.
