Lu 1- Zhongfu **
ATTRIBUTES: Mu point
FUNCTION: Disperse fullness of the chest
INDICATIONS
1. Cough. Asthma.. Bronchitis. Pneumonia Pulmonary tuberculosis.
2. Pain in the chest, shoulder and back. Fullness in the chest.
LOCATION:  Below the acromial extremity of the clavicle, one cun directly  below Yunmen Lu 2, 6 cun lateral to the Ren channel.
METHOD: Perp 0.3-0.5 inch towards the lateral aspect of the chest (Ess).

Lu 5- Chize **
ATTRIBUTES: He- Sea
FUNCTION
Drains Heat from the Lu pacify the pathogenic ascending Qi: to soothe asthma.
INDICATIONS
1. Cough.. Hemoptysis. Asthma.. Sore throat. Pneumonia. Bronchitis. Pleurisy. Spitting blood. Swelling and pain in the throat. Fullness in the chest.
2. Spasmodic pain of the elbow and arm. Swelling and pain of the elbow and arm.
3. Afternoon fever.
4. Erysipelas.
LOCATION: On the medial aspect of the upper arm, 3 cun below the end of the axillary fold, on the radial side of m. biceps brachii, 6 cun above Chize- Lu 5.
METHOD: Perp  0.3-0.5 inch (Ess).

Lu 6- Kongzui **
ATTRIBUTES: Xi Cleft-Accumulation.
FUNCTIONS: Regulate and descend Lu Qi, eliminate Heat, stop bleeding and pain. Acute disorders -(Xi Cleft)
INDICATIONS
1. Cough.. Hemoptysis.. Sore throat. Pneumonia. Tonsillitis.
2. Asthma..
3. Pain and motor impairment of the elbow and  arm..
LOCATION: On the palmar aspect of the forearm, on the line joining Taiyan- Lu 9 and
Chize- Lu 5, 7 cun above Taiyuan.
METHOD: Perp 0.5 - 0.7 inch (Ess).

Lu 7- Lieque **
ATTRIBUTES: Connecting
FUNCTIONS:  Strengthen the dispersing and descending function of the Lu, to dispel  Wind- mainly Wind-Cold, to remove obstruction and invigorate Jingluo. More dynamic than Lu 9.  Regulates Ren Mai.
INDICATIONS
1. Headache.. Neck rigidity.. Facial paralysis.. .
2. Cough.. Asthma.. Sore throat.
2. Weakness of the wrist.. Trismus.
3. Urticaria.
LOCATION:  Superior to the styloid process of the radius, 1.5 cun above the transverse crease of the wrist. When the index fingers and thumbs of both hands are crossed with the index finger of one hand placed on the styloid process of the radius of the other, the point is in the depression right under the tip of the index finger.
METHOD: Obliquely 0.3-0.5 inch (Ess).

Lu 9- Taiyuan **
ATTRIBUTES: Stream + Source
FUNCTIONS: Dispel Wind, resolve phlegm, strengthen the Lung function, soothe the throat.
INDICATIONS
1. Pain in the chest.. Pain in the medial aspect of the forearm..
2. Asthma.. Cough. Hemoptysis. Sore throat. Bronchitis. Pertussis. Influenza. Tuberculosis.
LOCATION: At the transverse  crease of the wrist, in the depression on the radial
side of the radial artery
METHOD: Perp 0.2-0.3 inch (Ess).

Lu 10- Yuji **
ATTRIBUTES: Spring Point.
FUNCTIONS: To eliminate Heat from the Lu, benefits the throat. Eliminate Fire from the head caused by mental depression.
1. Cough.. Hemoptysis.. Sore throat. Laryngopharyngitis. Tonsillitis. Hoarseness. Asthma.
2. Fever.. Infantile malnutrition.
3. On the radial aspect of the midpoint of the 1st metacarpal bone, on the
junction of the red and white skin.
METHOD: Perp 0.5-0.7 inch (Ess).

Lu 11- Shaoshang **
ATTRIBUTES: Well
FUNCTIONS: Eliminates Wind-Heat, benefits the throat. For tonsillitis, swelling-pain in throat, For fever and external symptoms. Revives from fainting
INDICATIONS
1. Loss of consciousness.. Mental disorders. Psychosis. Stroke.
2. Infantile indigestion.
3. Contracture and pain of fingers.
4. Cough.. Asthma Sore throat. Epistaxis.
5. Tonsillitis. Parotitis. Common cold. Pneumonia.
6. Febrile diseases.
LOCATION: On the radial side of the thumb, about .1 cun posterior to the corner of  the nail.
METHOD: Obliquely upward 0.1 inch, or prick with three-edged neddle to cause bleeding (Ess).

Lu 2- Yunmen *
INDICATIONS
1. Pain in the chest, shoulder and arm..
2. Fullness of the chest.
3. Cough.. Asthma.
LOCATION:  In the depression below the acromial extremity of the clavicle, 6 cun
lateral to Ren Channel.
METHOD:  Puncture perp 0.5-1 inch.

Lu 3- Tianfu *
1. Pain in the medial aspect of the arm..
2. Asthma.. Epistaxis.. Bronchitis.
LOCATION:  On the medial aspect of the upper arm, 3 cun below the end of the axillary
 fold, on the radial side of the muscle bicepts brachii, 6 cun above Chize- Lu 5.
(Ess,Sha).

Lu 4- Xiabai *
1. Pain in the medial aspect of the arm.
2. Fullness in the chest.
3. Cough. Asthma. Epistaxis. Bronchitis.

Lu 8- Xialian
ATTRIBUTES: Jing-River
INDICATIONS:
1. Abdominal pain. Pain in the elbow and arm. Chest pain.
2. Bronchitis. Asthma.
