GV 1 Changqiang **  
FUNCTIONS: Regulate Du and Ren Main and clear these two channels, promote the function of the intestines. Hemorrhoids, prolapse of the rectum.
INDICATIONS
1. Diarrhea.. Hemorrhoids.. Prolapse of rectum.. Hemafecia. Constipation.
2. Inducing labor. Impotence.
3. Psychosis.
4. Pain in the lower back.
5. Eczema of the scrotum. 
LOCATION: Midway between the tip of the coccyx and the anus. Locate the point in prone position.
METHOD: Perp 0.5-1 inch (Ess).

GV 3 Yaoyangguan ** 
FUNCTIONS: Eliminate Cold-Damp, benefits lower back and knees, regulate Ki Qi.  Much used for Wei and Bi syndromes.
INDICATIONS
1. Irregular menstruation.. Seminal emission. Impotence.. Spermatorrhea.
2. Low back pain.. Muscular atrophy. Motor impairment and numbness and pain of the lower extremities. Paralysis of the legs.
3. Chronic enteritis.
LOCATION: Below the spinous process of the 4th lumbar vertebra.

GV 4 Mingmen **
FUNCTIONS: Nourishes Yuan Qi, Promote and tonify Ki Qi, control emissions, tonify Yang, strengthen lumbar vertebrae. 
INDICATIONS
1. Leukorrhea.. Impotence.. Seminal emission. Enuresis. Spermatorrhea. Endometritis. Nephritis.
2. Stiffness of the back. Lumbago. Low back pain or sprain. Sciatica. Sequelae of infantile paralysis.

GV 9 Zhiyang **  
FUNCTIONS: Ease Liver and GallBladder, regulate Qi circulation, dispel fullness from chest and diaphragm. Transforms Damp-Heat, Jaundice.
INDICATIONS:
1. Pain in the chest and back. Stiffness of the spinal column. Intercostal neuralgia. Back pain.
2. Jaundice. Hepatitis. Cholecystitis. Round worm in the bile duct.

GV 12 Shenzhu**
INDICATIONS:

GV 15 Yamen**
FUNCTIONS: Clear Jingluo, relieve hoarse voice, Clears the senses  and consciousness.
INDICATIONS
1. Mental disorders. Seizures.. Incomplete maturation of the brain. Hysteria. Convulsions.
2. Sudden hoarseness of voice. Stiffness of tongue and post-apolexy aphasia. Deaf-mutism.
3. Headache. Vertebral paralysis.
LOCATION:  At the midpoint of the nape. 0.5 cun below Fengfu (Du 16), in the depression .5 cun within the hairline.
METHOD: Perp 0.5-1 inch. Deep puncture is not advisable (Ess).
 

GV 20 Baihui** 
FUNCTIONS: Promote resuscitation, calm the Spirit,clears the senses, eliminates Liver Wind. Stabilizes ascending Yang. Strengthen ascending function of Spleen. Prolapse of uterus and rectum(moxa).
